Juniper Networks Performance-Enabling Customer Service Wins Computerworld Malaysia Customer Care Award

Award Recognises Juniper’s Customer Care and Service Delivery in Intrusion Detection/Protection Systems Market

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, June 6, 2008 – Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that its customer care programmes and service delivery won Computerworld Malaysia's 2008 Customer Care Awards in the intrusion detection/ protection systems category.

The award was accepted from Fairfax Business Media Asia Regional Manager Andrew Smart by Sandra Wong, Juniper Networks Distribution Manager for Asean & India, at the 2008 Customer Care Awards event in Malaysia, last night (June 5).

Respondents drawn from Computerworld's 5,000 readers ranked Juniper Networks as the top vendor from six for their customer care and service delivery in the Malaysian intrusion detection/protection systems market.

The company received an equivalent award in the firewall/ VPN solutions category of Computerworld Singapore's 2008 Customer Care Awards.

'The Customer Care awards are a collective annual report card on key technology vendors/ providers,' said Andrew Smart.

'While the Readers Choice Awards, scheduled at the end of the year, measure the quality of a product or solution, the Customer Care Awards go a step further by asking enterprise IT users across the country to rate the quality of the service they get from their vendors before, during and after the deployment of their systems.'

'We're gratified that Juniper's customers recognise the investment we've made in customer care and service,' said Sandra Wong. 'High-performance networking technology is at its best when it is matched with service that helps users maximize the strategic advantages of their networks.
We'll keep innovating those services so our customers can stay ahead of the curve.'
