Samsung Malaysia deploys sleuths in stealth mission across the city

KUALA LUMPUR, 13 March 2012 – Storytellers, budding detectives and mystery writers in Malaysia will be offered an opportunity to partake in weaving a virtual web of intrigue using the GALAXY Tab 7.7. Beginning today, a group of undercover sleuths appointed by Samsung Malaysia will be slinking around Kuala Lumpur to solve strange phenomena around the city.

No reason for alarm however, as all the action is centred on an online storytelling initiative by Samsung Malaysia; the espionage-themed programme, which features a series of entires published in weblogs of 10 selected ‘agents’, is set to provide a brand new online experience for customers where the ‘agents’ narrate their fictional adventures while solving a designated mission each week – with the aid of all-powerful GALAXY Tab 7.7.

With five missions spread across five thrilling weeks, “cloak-and-dagger” enthusiasts can get interactive by submitting plot twisters - selected entries will influence stories and adventure directions of agents’ missions. By simply accessing the Agent 7.7 application featured in Samsung Malaysia Electronics Facebook page, readers have the opportunity to add their flavour and twists to the narratives posted by the selected ‘agents’.

“Through Agent 7.7, we are introducing a new consumer experience to our customers by highlighting amazing features of the new GALAXY Tab 7.7 while instilling suspense and excitement through blog entries posted by our selected ‘agents’.
