NorthgateArinso Malaysia appoints Saleena Ali as Country Manager

First female Country Manager of NorthgateArinso Malaysia aims to make NGA the leading HR software and services provider in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, November 23, 2011 – NorthgateArinso (NGA), the leading global provider of Human Resource (HR) systems and services, has appointed Saleena Ali as Country Manager for Malaysia. Saleena will be responsible for leading NorthgateArinso Malaysia to develop the local market and grow the Malaysian Business Operation.

Prior to her current position in NGA, Saleena was the Director of Customer Strategy at SAS Malaysia. Earlier to which, she held senior positions in Malaysia Airlines, Siemens Business Services and Computer Associates. During her tenure at previous establishments, Saleena had garnered multiple awards such as Best Project Manager in the Region from Computer Associates, Outstanding Contributions for Global SAS Education, Managing Director’s Award for SAS Customer Strategy Contributions 2006 and CEO Award at SAS Malaysia 2009.

Globally, NGA is a powerhouse with offices in 35 countries on 5 continents. Upon the commencement of her position as Country Manager to NGA, Saleena plans on boosting NGA’s brand awareness and fortifying NGA as the foremost HR Business Consulting and Solution Provider for the Malaysian market.

Saleena will report directly to Tracy De Abreu, NGA’s Vice President of Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa. “Saleena has served in senior leadership roles at Malaysia Airlines, Siemens Business Services, Computer Associates and most recently with SAS Malaysia. At SAS she managed and maintained all local customer retention and transformed the local business into the strongest amongst SAS Global community,” said Tracy De Abreu, Vice President of Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa, NGA. “With her proven track record in services delivery, extensive knowledge of local Malaysian customers and leadership experience, we are confident that she will help us penetrate the local Malaysian market and grow our Malaysian Business Operation.”
