CA Technologies Names Nutapone Apiluktoyanunt Country Manager for Malaysia and Thailand

Industry veteran to manage operations for CA Technologies in two key growth markets for the Asia South region

Kuala Lumpur, June 25, 2012 – CA Technologies today announced that Nutapone Apiluktoyanunt has been appointed country manager for Malaysia and Thailand.

Based in Bangkok, Apiluktoyanunt will oversee business operations and sales for the two key growth markets and will work hand-in-hand with the respective Country Representative Partners (CRPs), namely, CA IT Infrastructure Solutions Sdn Bhd (CA-IT) in Malaysia and CA Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Thailand.

Apiluktoyanunt will report directly to Victor Cheng, vice president, Asia South for CA Technologies. “Nutapone’s wealth of regional experience will add value to our team in Asia South and will provide a rock-solid foundation on which to build the growth strategies for Malaysia and Thailand. We are pleased to have him manage the CA Technologies operations in these countries,” said Cheng.

As the head of the CA Technologies offices in Malaysia and Thailand, Apiluktoyanunt will oversee the management, technical and marketing support for CRPs in Malaysia and Thailand. The CRPs will continue to manage the CA Technologies partner and customer ecosystems in Thailand, to ensure seamless connectivity between the business needs of the partner and user community, and CA Technologies industry leading solutions.

A veteran with more than two decades of experience in the IT industry, Apiluktoyanunt joins CA Technologies from Huawei Enterprise (SEA), where he was the deputy president of sales, heading sales operations for 11 countries in South East Asia. Prior to Huawei, Nutapone Apiluktoyanunt was the country manager for F5 Networks, where he was responsible for overall business operations, sales and business development for Thailand. He also held country manager positions at Acision (Thailand) where he ran the Thai office and opened up new markets in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, and at Hewlett Packard where he expanded the company’s software business in Thailand.

Nutapone holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology with first class honors from Victoria University of Technology (VUT) and a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. He is also one of the founding members of the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) (Thailand Chapter), an internationally-recognized, independent forum for IT Service Management professionals. He is also a member of the Project Management Office (Thailand), a group that strives to define and maintain the standards of process related to project management within the organization.
