Bosch continues innovative excellence with DYNACORD Vertical Array (VA) Systems

Subang Jaya, Malaysia, 11 October 2012 – Bosch Security Systems held a special preview of the latest audio innovation from DYNACORD, the Vertical Array (VA) System. The system transforms new innovations in digital audio and sound technology into practical applications suitable for businesses, industry players and musicians.

“This new revolutionary DYNACORD System is a plug and play solution for large number of mobile and fixed venue applications. The new VA System from DYNACORD comprises of the TS 400 array cabinet; PSD 215 and PSD 218 active powered subwoofers; and the PSE 125 and 218 passive subwoofers. The central component of the VA System is the TS 400, which can also be utilised fully on its own, or in conjunction with the PSD 215 and PSD 218 powered subwoofers as an active two-way system or the passive extension subs, PSE 215 and PSE 218. As such, many high performance innovative system combinations can be easily created, using the central component of the VA Systems.

The TS 400 is a compact, powerful and versatile loudspeaker system for mobile and installation applications. It was designed to provide a very even and smooth coverage over a wide bandwidth by using high-quality spaced and filtered woofers as array elements.

The active powered subwoofers make ideal companions with TS 400, as they are the ideal foundation designed to simplify two-way systems, without the need for external controllers and power amplifiers, while optimizing the sound quality with the ability to meet concert sound standards. In addition, the passive subwoofers are the ideal reinforcement without additional amplifiers in larger venues such as a conference room or a ballroom.

In difficult acoustic environments where the source of sound becomes not audible due to non-amplified venues, vertical pattern control is vital in order to achieve optimal sound quality and speech intelligibility elements.
