Tech World Expo 2013 to start at MVEC

New style Tech World Expo 2013 to raise curtains with God of Prosperity, lots of sparkle and flair

JANUARY 23, 2013, KUALA LUMPUR – More than 150,000 shoppers are expected at Tech World Expo 2013 next week. Tech World Expo 2013 will feature stylish and fashionable consumer technology and devices with lots of “bling factors” and appeal to the young and trendy. According EM Exhibitions (M) Sdn Bhd project director Jeslynn Wong Lee Chen, the big-scaled Tech World Expo (TWE2013) will debut with lots of sparkle and flair, including appearances from the “God of Prosperity” to spread the Chinese New Year festive cheer.

More than 80 exhibitors in 230 booths will be participating at TWE2013, which is intended to be held annually at the start of a year. These exhibitors represent a multinational array of brands and technology like Canon Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd (Booth 212), Dell Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Booth 108, 210), Lenovo Technology Sdn Bhd (Booth 107), Logitech Singapore Pte Ltd (Booth 207), Mac City Sdn Bhd (Booth 101), Panasonic Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Booth 201) and Western Digital (S.E Asia) Pte Ltd (Booth 105).

Numerous well-known brands are also represented at TWE2013 including Asus, Garmin, Hewlett-Packard, Nikon, Samsung, Seagate, Sony and more. Large consumer technology retailers and distributors like Aone Plus Supplies & Services Sdn Bhd (Booth 209), ALL IT Hypermarket Sdn Bhd (Booth 102), IDEAL Vision Distribution Sdn Bhd (Booth 304), Kao Sheng Distribution Sdn Bhd (Booth 208), MicroNation Sdn Bhd (Booth 306), Thunder Match Technology Sdn Bhd (Booth 109, 111, 202, 223) and Vertex Distribution Sdn Bhd (Booth 305) are also participating.

She said with Chinese New Year mere days away, TWE2013 will be colourfully decked with plenty of sparkle and flair to celebrate the festive occasion. There are “ang-pow” vouchers, bearing RM50, RM20, RM10 and RM5 coupons for the first 420 visitors, with at least receipts worth RM500, to redeem. “The “God of Prosperity” will make special auspicious visits to wish exhibitors and greet shoppers, presenting them with mystery gifts, our special “ang pows” and other goodies,” she said.

In addition, visitors can look forward to redeem special TWE2013 goodies at the “Guaranteed Prize Redemption” with only receipts of RM100 and above. “Every visitor is eligible to take part in our “Register and Win”, where we are giving away an Apple iPad Mini to the lucky winner,” she said.

A special “gong” will be rung to mark the hourly lucky draws which featuring RM50,000 worth of goodies including Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Samsung Galaxy Camera and more. “Visitors can also participate in our RM1 Auctions,” she said. The auction will be held twice a day, at 3.00pm and 8.00pm, starring big ticket items like Apple iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy S3, Apple iPhone 5 and more.

Early birds to TWE2013 are rewarded by being eligible to purchase selective items at special prices.
