Lawson Software Names Bickel as Chief Information Officer

SINGAPORE, May 22, 2008 – Lawson Software (Nasdaq: LWSN) today announced the appointment of Craig Bickel as senior vice president and chief information officer. Bickel will join Lawson on June 2, 2008. In his new role with Lawson, he will oversee the company’s global information services organization and be responsible for developing and managing Lawson’s technology strategy to support its worldwide operations in the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.

Bickel brings more than 30 years of information technology experience to Lawson, including more than 20 years in senior management and executive positions. Before Lawson, Bickel was a director for AlixPartners LLP, a $500 million management consulting firm that specializes in corporate turnarounds and transitions. Prior to AlixPartners, Bickel served as vice president and chief information officer for Cabot Corporation, a $2.7 billion specialty chemical manufacturer based in Boston, Mass. In these roles he led multiple business transformations and information services initiatives for global operations.
