Ultra-fast and compact Aficio SP C200S & C222SF series for small businesses
Malaysia, 15 May 2008 – Ricoh, a global leader in digital office solutions, today launched two new colour all-in-one (AIO) laser printers for small businesses and workgroups in Malaysia. The new Aficio SP C220S and SP C222SF models offer powerful, all-in-one performance packed with capabilities comparable to higher-end systems. While both models deliver accurate and vibrant colour printing, copying and scanning, the Aficio SP C222SF is equipped with high-speed facsimile transmission feature. These smart, sleek printers are simple to operate, easy to maintain and highly affordable.
Powered by ‘4 Drums Tandem’ technology which enables ultra fast and productive printing, both models print and copy in full colour and black-and-white at the exact same rate — 21 ppm (pages per minute) for SP C222SF and 16 ppm for SP C220S. Furthermore, the Aficio SP C222SF reduces paper usage as it allows standard automatic duplex printing at equally high speed.
Apart from producing its first print in a swift 14 seconds after start-up, these printers also deliver sharp black-and-white and vivid colour printouts of up to 2400 x 600 dpi, perfect for printing reports and presentations. A maximum paper capacity of 751 sheets* ensures uninterrupted productivity and workflow, while the 35-sheet Automatic Document Feeder facilitates larger copy, scan or fax* tasks. The Automatic Document Feeder also accelerates copy task as the first copy is generated in 30 seconds. (*Applicable to Aficio SP C222F only).
Equipped with robust and easy-to-use ‘Scan-To’ technology, the Aficio SP C220S and SP C222SF facilitate instant document distribution. The Scan-To-Email feature does not require a dedicated server or additional software, whilst scanned files can be uploaded onto a shared server via Scan-To-FTP, or onto a local server with Scan-To-Folder function. Both printers scan documents with resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi.
Faxing is speedy and convenient via Group 3 faxing in the Aficio SP C222SF. 3G transmission speed of three seconds, combined with a memory capacity of up to 100-page, 20 one-touch numbers and 50 speed dials allow faxes to be quickly transmitted over regular telephone lines. With a 33.6Kbps modem and 20 ppm engine speed, the Aficio SP 222SF maximizes an organization’s fax workflow.
