HP rewards the winners of the HP + G2000 Professionally Stylin’ Contest

MALAYSIA, Kuala Lumpur, 23 June 2008 – Hewlett-Packard (M) Sdn Bhd today held a prize presentation ceremony to recognize the winners of the recently concluded HP + G2000 Professionally Stylin’ Contest.

A brand new Compaq Presario notebook worth more than RM2, 000, HP LaserJet P1006 and G2000 shopping vouchers RM500 were presented to Rusalmi Binti Rashidi, 38, from Batu Caves, Selangor and Ng Ee Lynn, 24, from Petaling Jaya.

The contest which offered more than RM13,000 in prizes was conducted from14th January till 29th February 2008. With every purchase of a HP LaserJet printer or a purchase of a minimum of RM300 in a single receipt from participating G2000 stores, customers were entitled to a HP + G2000 Professionally Stylin’ Contest entry form. The contest only required participants to answer two simple questions and sign the word “Styling” in the most creative and stylish way.

“I would like to thank everyone for participating in the HP + G2000 Professionally Stylin’ Contest, and am certainly impressed by the quality of a number of the entries received for the contest. I’d like to also sound off my appreciation to G2000 for coming together and giving consumers a unique opportunity to take part in this special contest,” said Yan Yoke Ping, Country General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard (M) Sdn Bhd.

“This tie-up with G2000 proves that our HP LaserJet printers, especially the new HP LaserJet P1006 printer, are widely-preferred, much like the apparel brand. Our customers’ decision to purchase the HP LaserJet is a clear indication of their trust and confidence in HP’s LaserJet printers, which are cost-effective, efficient and give customers excellent value for money,” added Yan.

“I am very delighted to have won the grand prize and would like to thank HP for organising this contest,” said Rusalmi binti Rashidi. “The reason I chose HP is because I’ve heard of the reliability and quality that LaserJet printers are capable of. I can certainly vouch for the fact that I am always able to print good quality printouts,” she added.

“I’m glad to have won this contest as this is my first time participating in a contest. I really enjoyed using my new HP notebook Compaq Presario notebook and the HP LaserJet P1006 printer. I can surf the Internet 24 x 7 and the quality of the printouts is really good,” said Ng Ee Lynn.
