HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEM (HIS) INTEROPERABILITY SUMMIT

The Health Informatics Centre (HIC) of the Ministry of Health Malaysia will be running the HIS Interoperability Summit alongside Asia Medical 2011, focusing on the pertinent issues relating to interoperability and cloud computing in both the public and private hospital sectors. The participants attending include more than 300 IT Directors/Managers from hospitals throughout the country.

As a complement to the summit, the show floor of Asia Medical 2011 will play host to the Health Informatics IT Village which will provide a visible platform for IT vendors to display their latest solutions to the summit delegates who will be able to experience the topics and technologies discussed in real time.

Your reporter and photographer are cordially invited to attend and cover any of the topics during the HIS Summit which will be held from Oct 5-7, 2011 at TTDI A, Level 2, Putra World Trade Centre. The program is attached for your information.

Asia Medical 2011 has attracted 70 participating companies from around the world, including a Singapore national pavilion, displaying a full range of products and technology including dental equipment, diagnostics, electromedical devices, laboratory equipment, medical consumables, ophthalmic supplies, pharmaceutical supplies and medical furniture.

The estimated 2,000 trade visitors will comprise all manner of healthcare professionals working in hospitals, surgeries, clinics, pharmacist outlets and OTC retailers in ASEAN.
