Lawson and ETP Partner To Target Retail Segment in APAC

Both companies will work jointly to provide solutions in growing specialty retail sector

SINGAPORE, April 14, 2009 – Lawson Software today announced that it is partnering ETP International (ETP) to deliver specialty end-to-end solutions for retailers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Lawson and ETP have been jointly delivering solutions to the retail segment for over 10 years in the region. Under this new agreement, Lawson and ETP will combine forces to launch targeted retail solutions encompassing back-end enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain, point-of-sale (POS), customer relationship management (CRM) and merchandising functionalities.

“With existing customers such as IKEA in Hong Kong and Taiwan and This Fashion in Singapore, Lawson and ETP have already proven their ability to deliver unique, strong and focused offerings,” said David Hope, vice president and managing director, Lawson Asia Pacific. “Our industry-specific, low cost-of-ownership solutions, coupled with ETP’s industry expertise and skills, will help give our customers a competitive edge.”

Lawson also most recently signed a strategic deal with leading Philippine-based home building and construction retailer Wilcon Builders' Supply to implement the Lawson M3 Enterprise Management System.

ETP, which is headquartered in Singapore, is a specialty retail industry solutions provider.
