Kuala Lumpur, 22 June 2012. Maxis Berhad (‘Maxis’), Malaysia’s leading integrated communications service provider, today offered the new iPad with Wi-Fi + cellular models with a range of attractive data plans that will allow customers to connect to its high speed and advanced network. Maxis customers can get the iPad for as low as RM999 when they sign up for a 12GB data plan at RM108 per month, on a 24 month contract basis. Furthermore, Maxis One Club (MOC) members will be entitled to further discounts of up to RM300, thus making the new iPad as low as RM699, which will be offered until 30 June 2012.
Internet plans for the new iPad, available at Maxis Centres and participating Maxis Exclusive Partners (MEPs) nationwide from today onwards, will take advantage of Maxis’ recent network upgrades using "HSPA+ Dual Carrier" technology, doubling the download and web surfing performance previously available.

Customers will not incur any additional charges once they have exceeded their data quota but will instead face throttled internet speeds.
The new iPad comes with a list of popular Maxis apps, including Maxis ebooks, Malaysia’s first integrated digital book service which can be used across devices, Maxis F1 2012, Maxis Movies, Maxis Finder301, Maxis Customer Service and Maxis PayPal.
