Samsung Create Special Moments with the Stars

Local personalities engage in a friendly challenge to sell the most Samsung GALAXY Note 3 and GALAXY Gears

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 November 2013 – Samsung Malaysia Electronics has collaborated with local stars, Farid Kamil, Intan Ladyana, Yana Samsudin, Siow Hui Mei, and Jason Phang for its new innovations, the GALAXY Note 3 and GALAXY Gear Promoter’s Day.

Come Saturday, 16 November, these Malaysian personalities will engage in a friendly “Samsung Experience Consultant of the Day” competition amongst themselves to see who sells the most units of Samsung’s flagship devices, the GALAXY Note 3 and GALAXY Gear at One Utama’s New Wing.

“We are very proud to have these fine celebrities on board. Samsung is always looking at creating innovative on-ground avenues to interact and engage with our consumers. Through this experiential activity, we aim to bring our consumers closer to their favourite stars and our flagship devices, the GALAXY Note 3 and GALAXY Gear,” said Vincent Chong, Director of IT and Mobile Communications, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

Farid Kamil is a well-known model turned actor who has been dubbed ‘Hero Melayu’ for several outstanding performances in dramas and movies. Intan Ladyana, on the other hand, is a young lawyer-turned actress, model and TV host. Yana Samsudin is a multi-talented personality who has dabbled in directing, script writing, acting, singing and modeling. Siow Hui Mei is a seasoned TV host and actress while Jason Phang is a budding Disc Jockey and music enthusiast.

These celebrities have experienced the GALAXY Note 3 and GALAXY Gear and are said to be very excited to engage with their fans in a different way. They are currently enlisting support from their fans on their respective social media channels.
